Professional Experience
Self-Employed Artist (2008–Present)
Studio-based practice working between Bristol and rural Catalonia, developing long-term site-responsive projects alongside painting and drawing.
Artist in Education (2002–2008)
Delivered artist residencies, outdoor learning projects and professional development programmes for schools and local authorities, combining creative practice with early years education.
Art Handling Technician, Tate Gallery, London (1998–2001)
Permanent member of the art handling team working across Tate Britain, Tate Modern and Tate Stores. Team Leader during the installation and opening of Tate Modern (2000), with responsibilities including exhibition installation, collections care and artwork handling.
Art Handler, Manchester Art Gallery (2001–2002)
Supported the refurbishment of the gallery's new wing through exhibition installation and collections care.
Model Maker, G&T Production Ltd, London (1986–1996)
Specialised in three-dimensional model making for exhibition design and large-scale marketing displays, interpreting technical drawings and fabricating work for national and international clients including British Airways, Nokia, Cable & Wireless, Lever Brothers, Abbey National and the Ivor Novello Awards.
